Ruben Feringa

Ruben Feringa was born in Barger-Compascuum (Netherlands) in 1995. He finished his BSc (2018) and MSc (2020) at the University of Groningen. His MSc project, under the guidance of Prof. Wesley Browne, was on Photochromic materials. In 2019, he worked in the group of Prof. Jérôme Lacour at the University of Geneva on fluorinated Macrocycles. He is a PhD student in the Browne group since 2020, focusing on functional molecular based coatings and molecular switches.
