Daniël Duijnstee

Daniël Duijnstee was born in Amersfoort (The Netherlands) in 1997. He finished his BSc (2018) and MSc (2020) at the University of Groningen. His MSc project, under the guidance of  Prof. Wesley Browne, was on the electrochemical anti-Markovnikov Wacker oxidation. In 2020, he worked in the group of Prof. Aleksandar Tsekov Staykov at the University of Kyushu on periodic calculations on the mobility of thiols on gold surfaces. He is a PhD student in the Browne group since 2021,  focusing on the effect of additives in iron air batteries, funded by the Advanced Materials PhD scholarship programme
